I have a Tennor Kamaka with a Ebony Fingerboard which I have rubbed a little with my nail and it has lost some colour. Is there any way to smarten this back up like using an oil?

Fretboard oil can make it look real nice but what you need is some 0000 steel wool. Remove the strings and give the fretboard and frets and good cleaning up. That should have it back to normal unless you dug into the wood. You could use some 400 grit and then the steel wool if you need.
