Gretsch Ukulele tone change with humidity and seasons

I have a gretsch tenor 9120 that I purchased from theukulelesite.com. It is not a single body uke. But I observe that it changes tone based on weather. In summer it has a more flatter tone. Is there any care that needs to be taken like putting in a humidifier. I was told when I made a purchase that this model does not need a humidier.

if your in 35% humidity or lower it wouldn't hurt to have one. Laminate wood is much more stable then one solid piece but extreme conditions can still cause harm to laminate wood.
